This 3-Pack of 48-Page pocket-sized Memo Books features covers matching East Fork’s seasonal color palette: “In the Pines,” “Big Sky,” and “Wine Dark Sea.” A dream of the forest, a dream of the sky, and a dream of the sea are depicted on the back by intricate, evocative illustrations by artist and East Fork’s Head of Design, Nicole Lissenden. The interior pages are ruled with a color-matched double-line on top.

03. Cover: Neenah Classic Crest Eggshell 100#C “Solar White,” with a brute force 2-color application of “Big Sky” and dark blue soy-based Superior inks.

04. Innards: Domtar Lynx Opaque 60#T “Bright White,” with a fine, 2-color application of dark blue and light gray soy-based Superior inks.

05. Ruled lines: 1/4" (6.4mm).

06. Cover and innards printed on a Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102S six-color printing press.

07. Bound with a Muller Martini 6-pocket saddle stitcher with cover feeder/scorer, with appreciation to Samuel Slocum, George W. McGill, and William J. Brown.

08. Corners precisely rounded to a 3/8" (9.5mm) radius with a Challenge DCM double round-corner machine.

09. Memo book dimensions are 3-1/2" × 5-1/2" (89mm × 140mm).

10. FIELD NOTES uses only the Futura typeface family (Paul Renner, 1927), in collaboration with Monotype.
