This zine has been in the works for a whole year. I finally finished it in December 2023. I experienced loss at the end of 2022 and have spent a whole year just healing. I initially wanted to illustrate this little grief gremlin experiencing entering back into the world after going from caregiving, to loss, to grief. It was a lot of feeling shapeless and losing a sense of self. I kept the grief gremlin character in a little hoodie to represent that feeling. It was also about figuring out how to process what my new normal was.
