Blackwing Colors 12-Pack

Blackwing Colors are our favorite pencils for coloring Field Notes’ Spring 2023 “Streetscapes” Edition… or just about any illustration project. They’re made with Genuine Incense-cedar and feature the same semi-hexagonal barrel and iconic ferrule found in Blackwing’s graphite pencils. Plus, each pencil has a special sand eraser with a semi-abrasive texture made specifically to erase colored pencils.

But the best part is the soft, smooth Japanese wax core… they’re a joy to use, providing rich, saturated color with minimal pressure. It’s easy to layer colors to create new hues, create smooth gradients, and accentuate (or hide) the texture of the paper.

The sturdy, attractive box includes 12 colors: Pink, Red, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Green, Light Blue, Blue, Violet, Brown, Black, and Silver. (You’re especially going to love Silver.)
